August turned into November and we are finally done with the newest edit on BEING WEIRD (NOV 2021)>
I remember being caught in a sudden rain that evening (this is Paris in 2007) - alone - yearning for someone to share this beauty with me - white chestnut blossoms covered the pavement after the storm stopped. The exposition I saw was called THE AIR IS ON FIRE - and I felt it with all my body. Something was on fire. Honestly, I don’t know why I have waited until June 2021 to design something that’s purely and intentionally feminine. But I hope you will love it as much as I do. Our collection links birth-death, creativity and other traits attributed to the feminine principle >
Brilliant intimate moments of returning to your childhood with photographer Jenny Hueston: “I am always looking for pictures that capture the moments that feel like old memories of mine mixed with images that break away from those memories to the present day town that I only know as a visitor.”

We invited seven people we admire from around the world to share their ideas of what they would love to give & to receive for upcoming holidays. And what’s their wish for 2021. “A meteorite casually named after your sister (no need to officialise it, just use your imagination and draw one) or a tie-dye blanket from recycled cashmere?! Feel the warmth of upcoming holidays, even if you are emailing a scanned do-it-yourself card.” // image: this is on my wishlist. The photo was taken in September 2000. That minute is a long time gone. All zones of comfort are stepped out of. Unfamiliar is so intimate to me now. I still fear things but have a joyful enthusiasm about it. AS WELL as writing on them: here is my September 2020 edit >

FEMININE - a state of mind or simply looks? Through my work and life experience I distilled 5 main ingredients. In addition, how being a touchy-feely four-year-old can shape your career; how your grandmothers’ fundamentally opposite personas impact your essence, and how to find love by mixing fragility and strength (edit APRIL 2021).

“A cut flower’s life span is about 10 days and it evokes the sense of wonder for the time we do have,” says punk florist Makoto Azuma who sends his arrangements to the space (EXOBIOTANICA, 2014). // Watch Alison Klayman documentary to learn more >
Marvelous adventures of JAMES TURRELL: “every evening we unfold the light and every morning we fold it back to return the blue to the sky.” This magician studied mathematics, perceptual psychology, geology, astronomy, art and got a pilot license at 16. Flying Buddhist monks out of Chinese-controlled Tibet in the sixties was, he later explained, his way to find "some beautiful places to fly." Even if people said he was probably working for CIA. Watch him explain his lifelong Roden Crater project >
