If saving the planet is not sufficiently convincing > personalized, reworked and restored pieces are the best style indicator, essence of a true luxury and such a good emotional support to yourself, because it’s you, for you and by you!!

bring back your old skirts >

You went through your closet: donated, resold, and there is a pile of things you kind of like and would like to wear, but they might need some repair, or you are tired of those pieces and would like to keep them but see differently. This is when you need help - because we make magic from stuck-in-motion clothes, furniture, and jewelry.

WHY make the reusing effort first of all?

The volume of clothing Americans (what about the world!) throw away each year has doubled in the last 20 years, from 7 to 14 million tons. In 2018, 17 million tons of textile waste ended up in landfills, according to data from the EPA, making up 5.8 percent of the total waste generated that year.

According to the World Resources Institute, it takes 2,700 liters of water to make one cotton shirt. And! Textiles can take up to 200+ years to decompose in landfills.

Can your clothes be reinvented? Why do that and how >

- it makes you different. HOW: because no one will have what you do.

- promotes a sustainable lifestyle. HOW: by simply saving stuff from being thrown away.

- sparks your creativity. HOW: making you think about how to reuse something in a meaningful way suddenly you are a creator instead of just a consumer.

A recent analysis by a popular resale company revealed a surge in used clothing purchases that almost equals obsessive consumerism patterns of fast fashion. We need to learn how to keep and reuse. To look for newness in our own closets, and make your pieces more special, distinctive, and eccentric by reworking your things!!

examples of what could be achieved >

- think about remaking: a short jacket out of a coat, 90’s 90s-inspired handbag out of a clutch, a scarf out of a wrap skirt.

- you like a dress but it doesn’t fit you anymore? what about making a top out of it, using the fabric for a belt or kitchen cupboard curtains? Or maybe wrapping a gift in it.

- if something is too small or too big - that’s a pretty easy fix. Let’s find you a good seamstress if you don’t have one yet.

- you will feel such a huge satisfaction after fixing all the broken pieces and rejudging all the outfits.

- we will figure out what makes you the most appealing and will alter most of the items to emphasize that (beautiful legs?! A super nice cleavage or tiny waist?! - let’s show it!).

- have an old workwear jacket that is worn, faded, and almost holed? we will embroider it with super cool matching color lace and beads to make it a work of art!
