They’re sitting in your closet because you can’t bear to let them go, and you don’t have to. I’ll help you turn them into something you’re excited to wear again.

Why it matters >

We’re throwing away more clothes than ever. In the U.S., textile waste has doubled in the last 20 years: it was 17 million tons in 2018, according to the Environmental Protection Agency. Making just one cotton shirt uses 18 bathtubs of water and fabrics can take centuries to decompose. Giving your clothes a second life isn’t just more of a “personal style” - more “you”, it’s so powerful in many ways. And if you commit to only 5 new purchases a year (my goal!), repairs and reinvention become the most creative way to keep that want for newness satisfied without so much consumption.
