how did I get into embodiment and why should you, too >
“Connecting with my body in a more profound way revealed to me the importance of slowing down, feeling in, and talking to my inner self through sensations. Not to my usual nest of overthinking, but my body. I moved countries and started things just because it felt really exciting and good in my gut, but I wasn’t able to clearly understand where it comes from at the time, and why I want to listen to it. Now I have a tool to discern better what’s happening with me in the moment. I finally acknowledge what part it plays in relaxation, enjoying all kinds of pleasures be it sitting in the grass or gazing at a neatly faceted garnet. The exact same way my body is signaling me my traumas and strikes in automatic reactions that now I am able to recognize right away. In addition, embodiment practices instigate me to take care of my vessels more, which I haven’t honestly been doing before.
My main challenge was always anxiety. Embodiment helps me to learn how to flip it to excitement. Moreover, it’s amazing how fundamental it is in protecting your own energy from leaks, or getting rid of someone’s else’s energy if you are a sponge absorbing it.”

- HARNESSING FLOW ENERGY versus go mode: traditional feminine and masculine duality concept where, in order to achieve your goals you need to pull your energy up and focus - tightens your body. And in order to be in the moment, more creative, and intuitive you need to keep it in your hips and be relaxed. Embodiment practices help bring the energy down to your lower body.
- RELEASING BAD EMOTIONS / TRAUMA: your body keeps memories. An ancient fight or flight mechanism requires to let go of the pent up alarm energy to be completed and reset. If you don’t release it, it accumulates, influences your decisions when you are triggered or steals your energy, numbs, or acts as depressor.
- SENSITIZING: the more you practice into feeling in, the more you are becoming capable to feel more and articulate it right away. It gives you full access to your physical sensations and emotions, that means - a full capacity to sense - that means better sex, better creativity, better intuition and better sensitivity in general.
- RE-WILDING: with embodiment you can strip yourself to your authentic self and rediscover / reset creativity, intimacy and do better other things, like choosing your belongings, removing things from your life or you name it.
- LEARING BY RESONANCE from other women: the energies are contagious and it’s important to explore all the spectrum of them. The more uncomfortable a particular energy looks to you (ex., judge & reject your girlfriend’s sexy looks), the more interesting that exploration will be! Go there and inspect sensations.
- MANIFESTING: when you know what feels good for you and you practice those sensations, those habits, and those pleasures - you invite more of it all into your life.
- BUILDING CONFIDENCE: which is super sexy.
- RITUALIZING YOUR LIFE: creating altars, moments, little visualizations for your future, or letting go of your past can symbolically mark the beginning, the closure, the seeking, the vision or your own understanding of self.
